The Brake Director™ unit is hand-built in Washington and weighs 2.5 ounces. Each unit is shipped with everything you need to install it on your bicycle, including attachment cables and an instruction manual.

Consultation & Installation

(within Washington state only)

For the easiest installation possible, residents of Washington state can book an appointment with Brake Director™ designer David Hawkins for a fee of $45. Customers wishing to schedule a consultation should call 206-547-4621 and ask for David Hawkins to schedule an appointment before making the payment. David is available for consultation from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

If you are unsatisfied with your Brake Director™ unit for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of its shipment for a full refund minus shipping cost.

Shipping Options

UPS

Our standard shipping option. Brake Director™ units sent via UPS take 5-10 business days to arrive in most continental US locations.

Local Pickup

If you live in western Washington state, you may elect to forego shipping and pick a Brake Director™ unit up at David Hawkins's workshop.

2 Day Shipping

Customers who wish to have units delivered by overnight or 2-day shipping should contact us to make arrangements.

International Shipping and Special Options

All International customers need to contact us prior to ordering for Shipping and Handling rates to your location.
